Casting Announced for The Rainmaker
Blackfriars Repertory and The Storm Theatre Company are pleased to announce casting for The Rainmaker coming this spring to The Sheen Center.
In The Rainmaker, a charismatic stranger brings hope to a drought stricken town and a lonely spinster in this deeply romantic fable of love, longing, hope and fulfillment set in the American West of the 1930's.
Playing the Curry Brothers are Benjamin Jones* (left) as Noah and Sean Cleary* (right) as Jimmy.
Playing HC Curry (left) is Ken Trammel. Rob DiSario* (center) plays the deputy sheriff, File, and playing Sheriff Thomas, Jim E. Chandler (right).
Fleur Alys Dobbins* (left) plays Lizzie Curry and as Bill Starbuck, Matthew Provenza (right).
The Rainmaker is directed by Peter Dobbins; Scenic Design: Sheryl Liu, Costume Design: Danica Martino, Lighting Design: Michael Abrams, Sound Design: Caroline Eng and Stage Manager: Kateryna Turkalo. Publicist is John Capo.
The Rainmaker opens April 27th and runs four weeks through May 20th. Tickets available at The Sheen Center. Performances are Thur-Sat at 7:30, Saturday matinees at 2:00 and one special Sunday performance on May 20th at 2:00.
